Marie Amsler is a Swiss screenwriter specialized in linear drama who has worked for Bavarian Television and ARTE.
During her studies in Europe and the United States (English and French Literature, Drama
and Dramatic Structure, and Screenwriting/MA in Screenwriting) she also was a private student of Lisa Rosenberg (an American screenwriter, film instructor at the University of Berkeley SF, and
script consultant/ story analyst for Lucasfilm, Tri-Star Pictures, ITC, and Zoetrope).
Marie Amsler’s first screenplay, PUPPE, was awarded a one year scholarship (Bavarian
television and Nurnberg). PUPPE, directed by Sebastian Kutzli was filmed in Switzerland
and Germany with Corinna Harfouch.
Claudia Gladziejewski, editor of THE LIVES OF THE OTHERS, accompanied the script
